IMPORTANT INFO ON ENGINE RE-BUILDS:

There are many variables when re-building an engine. For this reason, we are unable to provide a comprehensive estimate without some help from you. For our sanity, please refrain from sending us an email asking for “ballpark” quotes. The dimension differences between Yankee Stadium and Wrigley Field are vastly different. Same goes for engines. 

1) ENGINE MODEL
a. Willys/Kaiser Flathead 4 cyl: L-134
b. Ford GPW 4 cyl L-134
c. Willys Go Lightening/Kaiser/AMC 4 cal overhead valve F-134
d. Continental/Super Hurricane 6 cyl L-226
e. Tornado 1962-64 Kaiser Pick-up only
f. No working engine or core

2) CONDITION OF ENGINE
a. Does engine in vehicle run?
b. Does engine turn over?
c. Any cracks in block or head?
d. Any coolant or oil transfer from radiator to crankcase?
e. Is engine disassembled?
f. Is crankshaft still serviceable or cracked?
g. What is the cylinder bore?

3) WHAT ACCESSORIES DO YOU HAVE?
a. Carburetor
b. Distributor
c. Starter
d. Generator
e. Will Tonka Jeep Limited (TJL) be re-building the above?

4) MISC
a. Will TJL  be doing a short or long block final assembly?
b. We generally schedule 3+ months out depending on our workload. When are you looking to have engine completed?
c. Will TJL be installing in your vehicle?
